Clinic and Recital at Stephen F. Austin State University

Thank you to Dr. Brad Meyer for having me at Stephen F. Austin State University for a day!  It was a pleasure to give a clinic for the percussion studio and to play an electro-acoustic recital as well!

Thank you to my good friend Mendel Lee for hosting my snare drum clinic at Tulane University!  It was a fun evening discussing muscular independence in snare drumming and percussion playing!


Masterclass at University of Memphis

Thank you to Dr. Bill Shaltis for hosting me at the University of Memphis!  It was a pleasure to present and perform for the studio and to work with some students on their solo music.


Clinic at Eastern Tennessee State University

Masterclasses at Bloomsburg University and Penn State

Thank you to Dr. Gifford Howarth at Bloomsburg University and Dan Armstrong at Penn State University for hosting me this week!  It was wonderful to perform and present for students at both schools, and to have an opportunity to coach them in solo and ensemble playing as well!

Clinic at Central Michigan University

Thank you to David Hall for hosting my snare drum clinic at Central Michigan University!  It was a great session with students discussing ideas for developing facility and ease of performance in percussion playing!


Coaching at Interlochen Center for the Arts

I had the pleasure of working with students at Interlochen Center for the Arts today.  What a dedicated, talented group of young players!  Thank you to Keith Aleo for having me – it was a treat to work with the students as they prepare to perform Steve Reich’s “Drumming” this fall, and working with a couple of students in their private lessons was especially enjoyable!
